BML bars, I bought 4 pints of Amstel before the game and 4 after the game. All were fine, all were £6.

Didn’t buy at half time or just before kick off.

Nice little sesh in the local Spoons… 4 pints of fucking quite magnificent American pale Ale (Moose River 5%)… £1.69 (with 50p off Camra voucher)… so basically the same as 4.5 pints for a pint of warm … shit Moretti at the LS…

Surely it'll be cheaper to buy a gram of schnozzle than a round for you and your mates?

Re: £7.20 a pint
I did a tour of Old Trafford a few months back (my daughter plays for West Ham ladies' academy and were given a tour as part of their weekend away) and confirm that a pint is in there is indeed only £3.

I know beer is cheaper up north but fuck me £7.20 a pint is a fucking liberty!!

Fully prepared for a c*nting off, but here goes

Am I right in thinking that club gains no benefit from the franchises in/around the ground and that all profits go to the stadium owners?

If so, why is no-one saying that when the club are blamed for the prices?

Because the club are the ones who signed off on the deal to move us to this shithole in the first place.

Re: £7.20 a pint
Prices set last season... carried on this season...

Well if it is the case as a response to upset fans then maybe fellow Hammers just boycott all refreshments in the stadium... won't happen of couse... not now

Re: £7.20 a pint
Fucking hell. That's really impressive - obviously it's cheaper up North, but even so that's cheap. It'd be interesting to know whether that's in response to angry fans buying less beer.

Re: £7.20 a pint
I don't buy that that Man Utd only charge £3, that can't possibly be right. Especially given that the standard of reporting there is abysmal - it's everywhere that those prices are wrong, so the standard of research isn't exactly high

Seems like they are spot on Mr Bally

"All areas of ground (exc hospitality) will now benefit from cheaper beer prices (which I'm pretty sure will be the cheapest in Premier League)."
Beer prices at Old Trafford will now be cut to £3 for 500ml bottles of Carling, £3 for bottles of cider and cans of bitter, and £3 for draught pints of Madri lager and Carling Dark Fruit cider.
Previously, there were discounted offers available up until an hour before kick-off - but the new prices will be available throughout the time that Old Trafford is open.

That isn't the response that HU have got and they're who the Club have responded to, so I doubt that's real.

Re: £7.20 a pint
Club will be rightfully embarrassed by this, they don't set the prices apparently but the fall out of all of this is terrible for them

Delaware North are being greedy bastards and jumping on the cost of living band wagon to put prices up
